An integral part of master planning a community is place making, and the Celebration Company knew that. When you consider the simple truth that all people long for social interaction, it all seems quite clear to see why The Celebration Company provided a plethora of “places” for the Celebration residence to meet and socialize. With the help of the master planners they had the vision to see that if they created “places” and placed them in strategic locations scattered throughout the town- activity would one day occur. And that it has, on any day after school and during the summer you can find children and parents playing in parks and pools throughout town. You can also count on finding a group of preteens in their neighborhood hang outs, whether it be downtown at the waters edge, outside the ice cream shops, or playing at one of the courts at Lakeside park, activity is everywhere.
