• Based on French Country following WWI
• Homes have simple rectangular form

• Asymmetrically placed doors, windows, and arcades are set in simple stucco

• Influences can be scene in porches, verandas, and wrap around porches
• Steeply sloped roofs with dormers main characteristic
• Typically have elaborate design details on porches and eaves
